I very recently bought a 28/2 ZF and it also has purple fringing issues with some photos at 2.8 and even 5.6!
I suppose that this has to be accepted as normal for this product.

That will costs us at least 2 to 1.5 times the current amount.

I WOULD LOVE TO BUY THAT LENS
I really hate CA.!!
it drives me crazy >_<
However, sometimes the CA did not appear on my photo :)
like on this one
Nikon D700 + Zeiss 100/2 Macro Plannar T* @F2 (wide open)

CA is normal for ZF lens....bear it.

I must say its pretty well corrected though.

ZF gives more sharpness to enlarge further and fringing becomes obvious. Other "apos" can't match sharpness & enlarge. Less fringing issues.

chicken and egg.

Here's my ZF50mm macro shooting my ZM 50mm planar. I love the bokeh and glow

Haven't encounter CA problem for my ZF100 f/2, maybe because of my subject nature.

Both are taken at f/2 (uncropped)

Wide open my 85/1.4 has purple fringing :sticktong however, I haven't noticed any purple fringing with my 28/2 :)

I use a D300...how can I adjust my camera setting to remove PF?

Just converted to the Dark Side and did my first shoot with ZF 50 Makro yesterday! :)

Walao! Even my S$6,000 Nikkor 58mm f1.2 NOCT has PF at wide open.

Don't worry lah. PF won't kill you. If PF really bothers you, convert your images to monochrome lor.

The Nikon D3, D700, D300 and D90 have automatic correction of lateral chromatic color fringes.

I am a Fujifilm DSLR user and I am not familiar with the later Nikon DSLRs. So I can't help you here.

I can't. If PF does exist in an image, I will have to live with it.
Thanx...The techies at Nikon didn't know how to do it either...all they recommended was post processing adjustments...so WYSIWYG with PF...
