Keng How is a good photographer.
It shows in his composition.
Not everyone of us will be able to take same quality of photos just because we buy same or better equipment. :bsmilie:

Thats very true. That was the reason why I gave my kudos to the photographer. And this is not the only photograph which has appealed to me. The ones posted at the beginning of the thread are also outstanding.

DSLRx has stopped making adapters.

Recently came across an adapter which was claimed to be made in Japan.
It was very light and the workmanship is very very good. No rough edges.
Seems to be a little better than DSLRx.

Will be doing an MO for this adapter. See this thread if u're interested.

weekh, that is the similar kind of adapter offered by fotographic, except that fotographic's ones is using a latch to lock the len and material wise is brass and flash chrome. If you think there are no sharp edges, then you may be wrong, remember tat time where i told you abt the removal of the adaptor from the len and that the edge will "hurt" your hand if the fitting is tight, look carefully at the adapter edge and you will find that it is jagged and these are the factors that will hurt your hand.

Someone asked me to show portraits taken by the 35-70mm lens some time back. Well, this lens not really a full head portrait lens. But it is still a very nice lens for enviornmental portrait shots.

Its not the lens man.
You are a master of light.
You are leading us astray by saying its the lens.
You would probably have shot the same thing with a Yashica 35mm :D

Do you take any classes for amateurs/beginners ?

Yes... I can give u the lesson now: buy the most expensive lens CZ / Leica / L lenses u can afford. :bsmilie: :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Serious speaking, I've never say that u will produce good pics with CZ lenses.
But CZ lenses will give u very nice colour and a certain look which the EF lenses are just lacking.

Bros......

Can't agree more that CZ lens gives you the mystic feelings everytime...... I own a G1, a G2 , the 21mm, 28mm, 35mm, 45mm and 90mm G lenses...... All the I ever need , except that the medium is film! (and not digital). Furthermore, it represents the best value system in my eyes.

Stop using my D70S after acquiring it for 2 weeks, simply because it does not give me as much satisfaction. In fact, contemplating to get a Konica Minolta Scan Dual IV, so that I can scan in images by my G system.

Dun have any experience in film-scanning, but wanna check if the magic of CZ lens can be "scanned" into digital format, or will it be lost when transfering to the digital medium? Is Scan Dual IV up to the job?

And Lastly, am I "going against the current" and become primitive instead(by still showing film and scanning the film instead of using a DSLR)?

Pls advise, for I'm lost at the crossroads

The G system is really good. IMO, they are better than the M lenses (less the ASPH 35mm f2).

Not really a good option if u wanna buy a scanner and scan your film. Might be better off to buy a cheap 300D or 350D and use the CZ lenses with adapter. :)
But then u don't get full frame on these cheap DSLR bodies.....

Why do u think it is not a good option? Because of quality issues or inconvenience/ troublesome?

My hopes for a digital G was dashed when Kyocera announced its divorce with Contax.......Damn sad!!!! For that would be the ultimate system for value and performance and size!!! (in my personal opinion of course~)

Wished I had a childhood photo like that! ;p
What's the aperture that you used?

I've the same 28mm as you but my pix quality.....

Did you notice that he cleverly hid his "reflector" in the pix?

Hint: the glow on the kid's face is actually reflected light.

Come on Wee, share some of your tips leh.... :D :D

Wooow! Very the cheem leh...
SEriously, I not conscious of this....
I'm only looking out for lighting and expression.

I'm using !Ds

I got a CZ 35-70mm lens for sale. This is regarded as the best zoom around beating the 24-70L and Leica 35-70mm f4.

It is in very good condition except for some slight discolouring on the front lens element which does not affect your image.

Going cheap at $700. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=142462
Let me know by this week if u're keen.

He can make a very good salesperson, just show them the photographs and they'll want to buybuy..
