actually come to think about it, i was the 1st to critique after this pic was up b4 my post 10 hours ago... and in 10 hours nobody dare to critique, i guess either they know the TS is someone not to be trifled with, or they really dunno where to start...

most of those i critique failed to realise that actually i've seen the pic and really use my heart into words for them to understand the flaw in the pictures... and mostly its the same group that are darn defensive, u see those group even start a commemorative thread for me in Kopitiam... i damn touched... felt like going in to continue slamming...

guess the truth is unbearable... but to post this pic for all to endure is even worse... can moderator please delete this thread? TS dun understand... if he had understood my intention, he would thank me instead... maybe another 10 years time he might.

Are you expecting others to think in your way? In that case there's no bad comments at all, because to you, this photo is nice, all the mistakes others pointed out are 'purposely made'. Then what's the point of posting photos here? You can already put it for sale.

If you think the pics sucks, pls put the blame on me, but not the model, but i have to agree professional models definitely will deliver better results.

Yeah, blame you, but whoever blames you, will either be ignored if they give technical suggestions, or challenged to 'show their photos' or 'keep their comments in the trash bin' if their suggestion are not so technical, in that case, who to blame?

Wow... it appears the 'DP' attitude has spread like wildfire among majority of clubsnappers. Have all of you lost your own identity and personality? Sigh. You are all like the girls that look at other girls and say, "she's so fat and she has the cheek to wear that short skirt!" So you think the fat girl should be "humble" to those bitchy girls and learn to dress more suitably?

If I can understand that it's easy for you to fall into the mob mentality or that being online tends to bring out your inner demons, then why can't you understand people who do nothing to hurt or humiliate you don't deserve to be abused by you?

Sorry.. But I believe that you can work around all these by controlling the equipment. Dun blame the model, dun blame the equipment...

The photog is the one who needs to understand everything. From lighting, pose, crop, direction and execution of the picture. You dun need pretty models to get a good picture, but you need to know how to take the picture so that it does justice to the model.

there's only 1 DP in Clubsnap, and I am only voicing out my comments on why the TS chooses to ignore ALL criticisms from all the clubsnappers here. Apparently, he chooses to imitate the father in the Gold 90.5 advert, "Hear only the good things"

I do not agree with the Mob mentality, but I feel it's more of a ego issue in which the person is unable to accept the fact that the picture does not appeal to the crowd here. Mebbe we are too technical baised here and we crave for prefection in terms of getting good shots, and thus we try to air our views when shots which are exhibited shows poor quality.

Just being a newbie photog, i know i'm in no position to comment or critique, whatever.
But, to learn, just accept the comments..
work on it, improve.. even if you fail, at least you tried right?..
if you don't try and ignore their comments..
you will never know what they mean upon the mistakes you made upon this shot...
no one is perfect, and everyone is different..
you can't expect everyone to be happy with what you've shot..

you posted it here, you should know what will happen next..
-is for others to comment/critiques and then you work on it, and improve...(in my opinion)

if you really did care and seriously wanna improve on your photog skills...
just work on it?
try it out?
if it's sucessful...
and it's another breakthrough we're talking bout... isn't it?

actually, its simple, a good pic, u see, u go wow... a bad pic... no need much thinking... pui... this pic... u know wat liao lor...

posters should exercise self censorship before posting if they wanna avoid criticism... if they think the pics is their best, and do not regret, then put up a fight... prove us wrong... explain to us in details, why should we accept that this shot is not trash, instead a masterpiece... if all else fails, accept the truth... embrace reality...

if 1 man say a pic suxs, maybe he is misguided, if 10 men says a pic suxs... something must be wrong here...
