Come on C and S ... give her a break and give some decent suggestions ... all the innuendos will come back and bite us. If the admins and mods tighen things any more, I won't be able to slam as freely as I can now, that will be a very sad day ...... heads will roll

So here are some suggestions, all S$100 or less, or thereabout ...

For the photographers amoung us, a visit to Riceball will always be a good choice ... how about padded cases of CF/SD cards ... that said, a CF/SD card for the one needing more storage space is good?

For the music lovers, HMV is a good idea. CD's are always a good gifts, or gift cert to iTunes, Amazon ...

there are games of PSP, xBox and PS3 to think about, and don't forget PC games for the hardcore gamers ... accessories for the PSP willalso be nice, ala iPod accessories.

At the end of the day, the best gift for me is a gift cert to a store I love, such as Amazon ...

timberland at vivo city is having quite a good sale. My wife bought a pair of knee high boots for like $130... I bought a pair of male boots for like $95.... which are around US factory outlet prices.

maybe very good friends can invite them down to buy boots

i prefer the personal touch of going to shopping to buy it as a gift.
also, there will be a xmas party i'm throwing so a parcel looks 'better' than an envelope.

Close friends means you should know thier intrests right? Perhaps getting some books on the hobbies they like? DVDs?

I think for gals what they want is some thought and effort put into the gift rather than the gift itself. Purely my speculation though

hard to buy things related to their interests cos i'm not into their interests and hence dunno what's good.

now then ask them out to shoot, abit too late.no element of surprise liao.
and what u mean backdrop xmas tree or santa?u mean put them in such a backdrop?
lots of work.and hard to get them out withtin 10 days.

PS:i dont think d200 is a superb camera.
i would love D2Xs more.
