eBay, Amazon... you name it. Just search for NP-W126 on those sites and you will find a lot of results.

I'll want the 18-55, and the 14mm. So it'll be a complete set together with the 35mm. Covers everything and every occasion.

Still doubtful abt d zoom lens capabilities. Will wait n c. D 35 is already so awesome a lens. Haha

I have used them for 4 months, no issues at all.

The NP-W126 is not smart battery, it does not have authentication chips installed. It is pretty safe to get 3rd party batteries... Think of them like the Nokia batts we used to buy last time :p

If don't want hassle of buying from the website, can also try a few shops in Funan who carries compatible batteries. Some are around $20+.

Some does not last as long though, with holding power dropping after a few charging/recharging cycle.

Just buy a few more as spares...

bought two pieces of third party ones from SLR about two months ago, for $12 each, they work totally fine.

Think they have revised the price.

I also remembered I bought spares last time from SLRR at around $10-$12 per set, now I think they are selling above $20.

Good quality though and should last well...

Does d battery runs flat really so fast on the X-E1?? maybe can get one extra batt to stand by... Haha

:bsmilie: for $15 a piece, you can buy 6x 3rd party batts and still cheaper than getting the original one.

x-pro1 + Voigtlander 12mm. Shot at aperture priority @ f/5.6, 1/30s, ISO6400.

I would say... the performance of this CV12 on the x-pro1 is darn good, the corners are sharp (I think it performs better than my XF18 at wide open but then can't compare a f/5.6 vs f/2).

Love the star-effect from the CV12, there is slight distortion on this lens but overall still a decent performer.

New X-Pro 1 user falling in. Just bought tonight with the 35mm lens. Looking forward to playing tomorrow (!) and to dusting off my APAD thread and to getting an M42 adapter :)

cheers!

Congrats buddy!

Some learning to do to get used to all the functions, and once you snap a few shots, you will be smiling....

You bought a new set or a used set?

Perhaps you could update the latest price if bought new?
