Where can I buy a 3rd party battery for $15?
Drillbit said:I'll want the 18-55, and the 14mm. So it'll be a complete set together with the 35mm. Covers everything and every occasion.
yrh0413 said:eBay, Amazon... you name it. Just search for NP-W126 on those sites and you will find a lot of results.

I have used them for 4 months, no issues at all.
The NP-W126 is not smart battery, it does not have authentication chips installed. It is pretty safe to get 3rd party batteries... Think of them like the Nokia batts we used to buy last time![]()
bought two pieces of third party ones from SLR about two months ago, for $12 each, they work totally fine.
Think they have revised the price.
I also remembered I bought spares last time from SLRR at around $10-$12 per set, now I think they are selling above $20.
Good quality though and should last well...
If don't want hassle of buying from the website, can also try a few shops in Funan who carries compatible batteries. Some are around $20+.
Some does not last as long though, with holding power dropping after a few charging/recharging cycle.
Just buy a few more as spares...
New X-Pro 1 user falling in. Just bought tonight with the 35mm lens. Looking forward to playing tomorrow (!) and to dusting off my APAD thread and to getting an M42 adapter
cheers!

Just bought an Xpro1 kit today!
