I just updated the firmware on all 3 XF lenses (18mm, 35mm, 60mm).
Some initial observations (not scientifically tested).
1) AF acquisition is fast, locking on without much 'hunting'.

Note: be sure your X-Pro1 body is updated to V2.0 firmware before updating lenses to V2.01 lens firmware.

yap. Updated my 35.
Same result as yours, not much hunting. (tested in a dimly lit room)

Hi all, just got myself a Xpro 1. When I attached the flash EF-X20in it, how come I cannot select flash, it is grey out in the menu. Did I forget something?

You are in silent mode... Hold down the Disp/Back button to cancel it

No more hunting at low light also?

Hello all X-Pro1 and X-E1 users, I would like to ask, if one of you could be so kind to give me a non processed sample picture file in RAW format, taken at lowest ISO setting, taken from tripod with remote or timer, and taken with the fuji 35/1.4 lens or Zeiss 35/2 Biogon , both set to F8 ? I would like to compare the quality / sharpness/ resolution with my Ricoh A12M . Many thanks in advance, please PM me :)

Can loan me your Zeiss

CKs2k2, Thanks very much, I am fine with the original raw file, please do not process in any way, will try out a variation of available converters . I am also happy with the Fujinon 35/1.4 , it is from what I heard and read, as sharp as the Biogon. Ether one of the optics would do for me, Biogon or Fuji. Important for me would be, that the photo is taken with a tripod and remote or timer , so there will be absolutely no influence of camera shaking , also that the ISO is at the lowest setting , so no processing noise would be added , and that the lens is set to F8 , which should roughly be the Aperture where the lens reaches the highest resolution. Please PM me, so I can give you an email address or an FTP to upload the file .

Anymore chatter sound for the lens aperture wirh latest firmware?

The firmware update Ver.2.01 from Ver. 2.00 incorporates the following issue
1.Adding the compatibility with "XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R".
*You will get the full performance with the new zoom lens "XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R".
*Size of the bright frame displayed on OVF can be magnified in relation to zooming motion of XF18-55mm lens.
2.The phenomena below will be fixed.
(1)When using the focus checking function with “3-time” magnification in manual focus mode, you could find a few dots (black or color) only in live view image on EVF/LCD.
(Please be sure even with the firmware version 2.00, these unwanted dots are not recorded in the image data.)
(2)The auto focus accuracy with XF60mm Lens could not be enough.
(3)When using the M- Mount Adapter, under exposure could occur.
<Notice>
1.To enable those features, please confirm the firmware version of your Fujinon XF lenses (XF18mmF2 R / XF35mmF1.4 R / XF60mmF2.4 R Macro) is Ver 2.01.
2.The firmware version of XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS is shown as Ver 1.00, and no firmware update is required.(as of Nov/2012)

Surprisingly the FW update did not purge any settings. :D

Anyone using thumbs up?
Tried it but didn't like it, although many of our bros here seem to do. Also tried the hand grip but found it too troublesome to access the battery compartment. For me the Gariz half case provides sufficient grip, protection and easy access to the battery.
