when things dun happen to those who ask u to sua, its just too easy to type "sua" loh...
like if u kenna play out by shoot organiser last minute cancel shoot, just sua oso? i dun think so loh... :sweat:

next time use compact cams, or phone. den no BTSS label, but hack, why should others be let off the hook for stoking the flame for no good reason?
i think those XMMs should be more responsible loh.

I'll hung up the tee and label it BTSS tee. It'll become collector item, meaning never wear again.
Not M8, M8.2 with a 90 Cron or 135 Elmar. Then he'll stalk XMMs with the added crop factor.

I was street shooting the other day with a 50mm on my 1.5 crop factor DSLR and I spotted some ppl reading the bus stop info panel very intently, so I walked till I was past the panel and turned around and snapped a shot and promptly turned off and walked away.
Then one guy LOUDLY proclaimed... wah, why he shoot me huh? I was like (in my mind), I wasn't even shooting you, why are you complaining?? :dunno: Din't even know how he looked like anyway... :bsmilie:

Photography in Singapore is no longer fun. It was suppose to be an enjoyable hobby for some of us and a source of income for some. But now.. HAiz.. give up.
Shoot street, you get something like what TS got..worst case I heard is kena atacked.
Shoot Buildings, security come to disturb.
Shoot models, haha you can read lot and lots of interesting happenings reported in this forum.
Even shooting Nature is not spared. Just last saturday, I was out shooting at LP. No subject to shoot so was actually resting. Camera setup on Tripod pointing down. A group of about 20 youngster. (from slang and outlook like PRC students) came by. One of them for no reason peek into my Lens from the lens hood side. I dunno want to laugh or not but decided to act blur. Some days I will get question like what you shooting? Sometime I will answer them Birds. Sometime I get naughty and answered "Tiger" followed by a very soft Shrike. (Tiger shrike is a bird) :lovegrin:
Bottom line is be happy and do what you deem right. Photography to me was an enjoyable hobby and will continue to be.

btw, i havent encountered such stuff before..
the only time people commented on me was when i was shooting at chinatown during CNY period in 2007, i took a photo of the paper-cutter (those.. red paper cutting, chinese tradition) while he was cutting one for me (yes i bought one..) then he saw me taking photo and asked "you photographer from the newspaper?"

I think the statement about shooting with compact is rather true, people see u differently when u are using a compact. But why the mentality? Does using a P&S makes u look more like a tourist. Guy shooting with compact will be ignored, but guy shooting with pro looking DSLR will be labelled BTSS. Weird :dunno:

think is the hairstyle and body shape... u won't see ppl call takuya kimura a BTSS when he hold his D300... instead, ppl flock to block his view when he wanna shoot landscape... then he will call ppl to SIAM AH!!! :bsmilie:
