Hi all I'm new into photography, got my Pentax k5 less than a month ago... Is it ok if a photography noob like me join? Hope I can learn from experienced shooters

Actually Bishan park has potential too with the newly renovated 'longkang' (ie. canal).
So that can be an option too.

Bishan park have to wait because not fully renovated ok, the longkang for canoeing and blah blah all not done yet

Have to skip this round as only be back from overseas on Feb 4th.
You guys made the decision (on venue/subject to shoot) much harder
Just some commens here:
1. We've just done a street shooting during the last outing, better do something different this round?
2. Lately the weather has been pretty windy, not really good for macros?
3. Sunrise/sunset is a bit tricky, and we didnt have much luck w/ the weather during the past a few sunrise/sunset outings
4. Our outing group is getting smaller lately, probably because the venue or subject isn't very interesting to the majority users. Should we think of something more attractive to more people?
5. A call to all those oldies: please do join us if can. We haven't seen many of your faces for a long time.

so humble 50 only, btw thanks for your info I manage to retake old photos with my 50mm at some lousy light area around the house. Asked if can wash the original photos into bigger and they say the details and all will be lost when expand so I have to do retakes

Can I join the outing? I'm very new to photography and I only have my one and only humble Pentax Q with standard prime 01, nothing else

My goodness!! You only have that? I can't save you from the poisons later on..
Kidding.. Haha! Come join! Cameras are just tools, an extension of your artistic mind.. You can learn and find out more of whatever camera you have..
