Why do you stick to Sony DSLR?

i started with Sony because of what the A33 offers. Reasonable resolutions, 7fps and the evf.. i more or less already know how the photo will turn up before i snap.. useful for a noob? and because of Rashkae and Kei.. those 2 buggers damn zai, so i thought i wanna learn more.. hahahahaha. it was a hard decision ok, with all my frens asking me to get N and C, some laughed at me saying that i thought i'm buying mp3 player.

I fell in love with Sony cameras esp CZ lenses after my first digital camera Sony DSC-H50.
So i bought a A350 2 years ago... Still holding on to it while waiting for the A77
Moreover i dun like being C or N as they are too common... And having in body stabilisation makes sense..

i find the A33 has better specs than similar range of N, C, despite the lower price and when i heard S and N has better sensor than C, i was damn happy. LOL.. Apparently, that guy is a C fan boy la.. i found out he's been sneering at all users of other brands.. Yes, i bought sony and i'm proud to say i own a sony dslr.. haha
whoa.. so envious.. wish i can afford CZ lenses too...
and yes, the in-body stabilisation too but i only found out that sony is the only brand that has the IS after i bought it.. hehe.. thank george i bought sony..

the newspaper part, it already can.. it's called video recording.. hehehe..

I can get straight out of the camera the shot i need (with the desired settings) - important when you need something straight out of the cam and ready to use. The intelligent preview in A900 is a god send and well implemented features. Shooting professionally these days where time is critical, You can't spend hrs doing correction on images. Imaging 1 photo you take 5mins. Imagine 100 photos. Where I am now...no one really cares what brand of camera you use. Its all about knowing your tools and deliver. Many other brand users envy the good Zeiss lens in the pro market. We shoot mainly with the Zeiss and G lens and the Sony cameras surely can perform as well, equivalent and in some areas even better from the other brands. So again...its just a camera and the lens and accessories are just part of the toolkit. Shoot and be happy...Cheers.
Well for me Sony is the first DSLR I got since I started to become interested in photography which was like last month and I never regretted getting it, I tried my cousins Pentax and Nikon DSLR and too me it's quite complicated, haven't tried a Canon though, since Sony was the first DSLR I gotten I'm gonna stick with it

sigh my A33 has not seen much sunlight lately... been busy at work and no time to shoot... hopefully my A33 will get some exercise and get some sunbathing this coming last week of May
How are you, bro ? I've been busy shooting but work related kinda shooting ...you know, company events where the bosses and VIPs has to look good.

wow envy you bro still manages to shoot. I am ok and family too thanks hope you're doing better at your end too. Well been in and out of photo shooting mostly now just family photo during weekend out but nothing serious. Family is going to beach end of the month and I am thiking if I should get UWA or my 17-50 would be enough =) the main concern is the lens I like cost 980-999sgd bnew too exp.

i am a Nikon D70 user, just get another Sony alpha A230 yesterday, any minolta lens can recommand me?
welcome to the family Nikon and Sony are related in terms of sensors =) for Minolta lenses there are a couple of famous lenses out there like the beercan 70-200 f4 the secret handshake 28-135 f4-f4.5 the bigbeercan 70-300mm f3.5-5.6. These are affordable ones for portraits I think there 135mm f2.8 and among other minolta lenses out there =)
