did any one watch underworld?
mask?
I got the X one...
not single pane but lower pov...
and for me it auto-clears the water..

anybody can recommend an inexpensive single pane mask? for me?

I use a Tigullio Bright. Bought from Deep Blue at Riverside Point. (Me not spokesman for Deep Blue - just was trained by them for OW. I get their email regularly) I think they're having a sale now so it should cost below $40.

Quite a popular model 'coz it is a good fit for Asian faces. Skirting is black which, if I'm not wrong, is more useful for underwater videography/photography.

For Mask most important is to try lar, quite personal one. I happen to see and like the Tusa ones. Didn't quite like the look and feel of the mares.

For Mares I think you can go to their distributor Divemaster Pratama.

USDiver never fails me.
Very big panal for viewing + cost about $50+ like that only.
Very impt when uw-- don't u just wonder why u don't see turtles mate, families of mantas gliding & all the exotic stuffs swim pass on ur EVERY dive?!
:dunno: ?

REASON:some masks just cannot make it & block your view.
It's ALL the MASK's fault!! :blah:

so don't blame ur luck if u have yet to see any of these sightings... the only reason is ur mask is not from USDiver.. :bsmilie:

Only thing minus is, only the big-headed divers can fit this mask. Ah boh, will look bery funny one... a bit like a canon s45 attached with 100-400 lens (have to wait a while first, i have not proposed to canon r&d yet.. )

One of my friends had a piece of flesh ripped off her index finger.
extremely painful, esp with bone being visible.!! :faint:

notice that people like me are keeping quiet? ^_^ interesting info here... though i wouldnt get a dive comp. hey guys, i am going diving this weekend! haha!~ going to aur. hope i see something ya ...

Please be careful, the swells were at least 5 meters. If you do see alot of white caps, please dont go to Lang or Rakit.

Currents were strong that finning was useless.

Please tell your operator to choose the sites carefully. my friends were rescue trained. yet both Froze...

what are swells?

btw, what ripped the finger? triggerfish?

nah. triggies are not harmfull this kinda period.
she was climbing up the ladder, when a huge swell hit the boat, the ladder retracted, hit the edge of the boat with her weight with BC and tank; onto her index finger. Ripped the top part of the index finger's flesh off, exposing the bone.

5 meters swells can still go out to sea meh? I thought that is consider unsailable for normal dive boats already.

SehSuan : Swell are waves. 5m swells are huge!!

that is being the reason why i dont dare to go diving during this period of time. current can be very choppy anytime due to the monsoon nearing.

hope ur friend recover from trauma soon. last but not least, speedy recovery.

5 meter swell? what species is that? never heard of a 5 meter swell shark

oh .... a 5 metre wave .... I tot a 5 metre swell shark .... almost faint when I heard that ;).

it wasn't that bad at first when we went down, 55 minutes later it was really bad.
white caps everywhere. everyone was lost, even when we are 7-8 meters underwater we could feel the swells.. imagine being banged underwater at the depth of 7-8 meters.

i was in a hightened stated through out the whole dive. when i was checking everyone's air, i found i was the one with the lowest amount left.. gee..

one of the reasons why i dont like to be a dive leader. responsibility too high... :(
