I have had strange image corruption problems in Kingston before. Since then I'm strictly on Sandisk and Lexar..

Sandisk, because my 1st digital camera came with 2 pieces of sandisk CF card!!! ;p

and it has been Sandisk ever since

i use both Kingston and sandisk. No problems. = )

I have all Sandisk,Transcend, Kingston and Lexar. The 1st professional card I used was Lexar at that time a 1GB WA 80X selling close to $200 LOL.

To me they are all reliable so far no card disappointed me yet. The only different is their speed but I am not that concern over speed but price and transcend offer a good price.

Using kingston and sandisk. So far its been a year, and the kingston CF works as it should. No issues whatsoever, but I still stick to sandisk for weddings and important events :)

Sandisk and Kingston here. Very pleased with their results.

SANDISK ftw! But that's only because I haven't tried others before. :D

Sandisk or Lexar. My Kingston card keeps corrupting for some reason.

hmm... i ever wondered about the differences... i've been using kingston, to the shock of a handful of other photographers who swear by sandisk.

historically, is it really that problematic, kingston?

Price, price, price.

I voted for EVERY card mentioned. I use these cards for general purposes. I am not a pro. And there are countless stories of FAKE high end cards that fail .. esp for Sandisk.

As long as it is reasonably priced and reliable, I guess all these cards serves their purpose.

BTW I have used Sandisk (not Extreme 4 but most of the others), Lexar (not the 300X though), Kingston, Transcend, Toshiba etc ... whatever ... even brands like Ridata and some others I can't even remember (from the days of 128 Mb until now).

Never had a failure.

I'm also using Kingston CF card and have no problems so far. Besides it came free with the camera so have been using it since. :)

I go with Sandisk CF for my camera.

Kingston SD for backup and when I don't care about speed.

Same here. Actually, i got both as freebie so not that bothered about brand/speed.
Cheers:)

Ever since i paid 185 dollar for a 512mb Lexar 40x 7 years ago, I have spent not more than 50 dollars on each cards then. Transcend.

Sandisk only............ but will use whatever FOC brand cards too that come with the camera....
