Which brand of flash memory will you buy?

later bought Transcend 16GB SDHC class 6

no problem so far

I would buy a SanDisk if i had the money.
My Kingston failed on me once before. Lost all my photos.

Sandisk ! .. I having problem using lexar when transferring photo using Camera body but no problem after using card reader..

I have been using all along Kingston CF 2G and 16G and found them to be reliable and less expensive than Sandisks

sandisk is my preference. once had kingston, laptop couldnt read, external card reader couldnt read, got to connect my camera directly to laptop to transfer files! No more kingston for me

I primarily use Sandisk and Lexar CompactFlash and SD cards. I have great confidence in them.

I have also used Canon, SimpleTech, Viking, Toshiba, Data, and PNY cards. Of these, a SimpleTech and a Data card failed and I lost all images. The SimpleTech manufacturer replaced the defective card at no cost.

I never had any problems with my Kingston CF cards before (I used to use to entire range, from the regular one to Elite Pro & Ultimate).

Decided to switch to Sandisk Extreme (60MB/s) as I got a good deal with it.

A question I always wanted to ask? Do CF cards have a shelf life? Btw, my Kingston 1GB card just failed me.

I'm using mainly Sandisk Extreme cards, so far so good.
