I think its successful becoz u guys only remember the lady in pink bikini...:bsmilie: :bsmilie:

She is one of charby's Angels

Anyway, i think this year Carlsberg Xmas TV ad featuring the local celebrities is the worse.... :thumbsd:

If you realise, Apple computers used the tune in a TV animation for the launch of the second iMac years ago. They used only a portion of the tune and didn't drag the music like what TVMobile is doing.

I prefer the office girl with tummy, cute :D

The idea of an ad is to grab your attention. Whether you get irritated or not is not the point. I used to work in an ad agency. The ad is considered successfull if you stop to look at it (even if you hate it later). So I guess they have been successfull.

I'm not too sure whether you from A.E side, or creative.
If you used to work for an ad agency...then i suppose your ad agency is not a good agency.

No doubt, an ad has to be attention-seeking piece...but does that advertisement increase the brand equity?

Anyone can do an ad.

You can do a lame ad and everyone in town can talk about it.
but that doesnt bring in sales and doesn't harness your brand to the next level...
it will only bring it down.
(waste client's money only and agency's reputation)

There only 2 kind of ads in this industry.
A lame one like TV mobile ad.
or
successful one like the Jap detergent TVC. (done by 10am)

;) ;)

good wat, the younger generation find it cute
