think u need to buy a travel bag with a trolley... heheh..

i using the crumpler's company embarrasment with another tube to store the 70-300

but i find that crumpler's padding is good protection for the equipment but its too heavy to bring about... thinking of changing to a lighter 1..

Just for fun...

Lowepro Stealth Reporter 200AW
Lowepro Stealth Reporter 500AW
Lowepro Mini Trekker
Nikon-Domke-look-alike bag (FOC bag from Sitex)

main bag is a 'cheapo' very well used, faded and no label domke F3. snug and fit most of my stuff now. had added extra velcros and stitchings myself. just feeling that internal paddings could be more and thicker.

have these bags and got to use them from time to time:

Lowepro Computrekker
Lowepro Orion Trekker
Lowepro Omnisport
Lowepro S&F RL200 (from mag subscription)
Nikon-Domke-look-alike bag

my new camera bags from hk,

kitterrick tote bag, light canvas

5cm heavy canvas school bag

another adidas PVC 'vintage' bag.

Arrgg... finally decided to bite the bullet... got the Domke J2 instead...

Damn like the insert, so flexible and configurable... ngek ngek ngek... now can finally carry 3-4 lenses around liao... wua hahahahaha... dun have to decide which 1 lens to bring out liao.. wu ahahahahaha... :bsmilie:

Anyone want a review on the J2?... it's good stuff...

Got a Lowepro SR300AW... Still wondering what backpack to get to put laptop & stuff as well as the cam & lens... So far... No conclusion yet... Saw the Computrekker... but that does not have enough space for the laptop stuff...

Thinking of just getting a targus bag with hugh space and then load the lens in the LC bags before dumping into it... Haiz... Headache just thinking of which to get... Somemore got budget constraint....

RossChang, well, you may be in the new-broom-sweep-clean mode. hehe.

just a few ....

CamelBak Rim Runner with padded insert from a Lowepro backpack
Crumpler Canon LE
Lowepro S&F Reporter 200AW
Lowepro Mini Trekker AW
Lowepro Rover Light
Lowepro Utility pouch with deluxe shoulder strap (carries 2 lenses, spare batteries / CFC's and S60)

plus a Tamrac Cyber 8 and Billingham 455 on order ....

300 for the J2...from Cathay. they have quite a selection in both their Peninsular branch and Marina Branch.....................

I got :
1. Stealth Reporter 200AW
2. Naturetrekker AW II

Now I got a question. ;p Anyone knows of any bag which can hold a metz 60ct-4 hammer head + its battery pack and a 70-200 lens in at the same time? Of course it has to hold other stuff like backup body and 3-4 other lenses.

What bag?... :dunno:

i do not buy a 'camera bag' from a camera store, i use fashion bags with paddings. only upon assignments i use a lowepro aw650 inserts, otherwise its just fashion bags. i do not like the shape of most camera bags, very ugly bugles and boring designs, most of them are, great in egonomics but not to my taste. :)

the only thing i like is domke but i also cannot stand the satin labels on the sides of the pockets, screams out photographer whenever you go. Why can't people look for other alternatives when it comes to accessories? same bags/vests/uniforms for that matter...... :)

I like Crumpler for the look, but they are darn heavy bags and (over)padded to carry a nuclear warhead. I like Lowepro beacuse they are light and they are black. I like Domke as they last forever but can't afford them. SO HOW?? :dunno:

I have a Crumpler shoudler bag but getting a Mini Trekker AW or Crumpler Shrinkle soon.

Crumpler Shrinkle backpack for my D70, kit lens, 70-300mm Sigma, 50mm f1.8, SB800, Feisol CF tripod and all the cleaning stuff. Abit tight for D70 body... Must bend partitions abit. Abit regret not getting the bigger Formal Lounge or Brian's HotTub. But otherwise super padded, and can comfortably hold the tripod at the side. This is one rugged mother you can probably toss around and not hurt your camera :)

Hey benedium,

I got about the same amt of stuff you have... you saying the shrinkle is too small overall? I tot of getting the bag and tot the Brian's Hot Tub too big. Btw do you think you can squeeze a 80-200 f2.8 in along with all the other lenses? Would appreciate it if you can PM me a snapshot of the interior with your stuff in.

Have shrinkle myself, I usually able to fit in my 10D, 70-200, 105, 17-40 and 50mm, but need to take out 50% of the padding out. Good bag/good design. but the design abit odd and more difficult to arrange (vs. minitrekker).
