I'd use this for measuring liquids though can be used for dry ingredients too albeit troublesome.Drudkh said:
If you are just starting out in baking or would rather weight, then weight. If you can bake using very good agaration, then go ahead. I had to make do without my weighing scales in Rosebud when I made my brownies. Still good if not better. :thumbsup:clarinet said:I think if can weight, weight is better..... more accurate. For things like sugar, rice, those non-compactable ingredients, I'd rather use the measuring cup if possible.
You'll learn these things along the way.![]()

I would prefer to weigh the flour but as I can eyeball the amount (after 15 years of baking), I can also do without the weighing machine.Haze said:Is that mean for Flour should use weight machine even thou the recipe said 2 cup of flour
Yes. Of course you can also increased the amounts for choc chips, raisins a bit anytime...Haze said:and for sugar, desicated coconut, chocolate chips, rasins.. use cup...
i'm very sad as i write this post..
one of my bro's fren (my fren too) committed suicide this morning.
he's a jovial, helpful, friendly & approachable chap.
his leaving would leave a scar in his family and friends' hearts.
i'm in a total state of shock & feeling very, very depressed.
i feel like crying ..
life is very short... let's all be happy...
