How did you conclude what she wrote was thinking about her country? putting people down in the way she does, does not in anyway equate to thinking about her country... in fact, it was far from it.

Not enough, must taste a dash of humble pie first before they can serve, to understand people's plight requires a deep understanding of how it is for common folks live in a constant daily fight and struggle to survive, where everything revolves around money, even education.

freedom of speech?
in Singapore?

anyway, there wouldn't be much of a hoo-ha if she hadn't entered the 'ELITE FACE' quote in her blog. who would've cared that she's the gal of some MP, much less from the 'elite' school, RJC?

the last two points made it all the more tasty as the netizens devoured her and spit out her bones.

with a bit more sensitivity and simple thinking, ahem, one would've thought she'll do well not to include those 'elitist views and remarks'. and, majority of the ppl in Singapore happens to be 20, 30 going 40 and facing all sorts of mid-life crisis. all these add up to her misery.

elite? what? what?

Don't really agree with you. With that mindset of hers, any one would have gun her down with that kind of speech. It's just too strong!
