shld be 3050 some place sell it 3150.... so u need to do a bit of walking to get the so call cheapest price...

If u able to wait till 800 out then u realized that it's too ex, and another thread of "is 800 worth or should I get 700?" or maybe another model comin out and u stuck w delima again. Camera not very impt , skill is much more critical , I got a frd using d40 and his pic is marvelous .

I pop over at CP yesterday, the sales guy mentioned each shipment the prices will increase.
Nikon & Canon affected especially lenses produced in Japan. Not sure of the camera body pricing.

D700 is good enuf for now
