Hi,

I am newbie in this area. I have editing two VOB files; ie VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB.

When insert DVD into player, i want it to auto play and auto looping after it finishes. how i do that with ifo? what settings need to be done?

Shouldn't you use the dvd player to do the looping instead?

Normally I would use a DVD authoring software to do this without having to look at the ifo files. I take it you are editing VOB files ripped from a commercial DVD?

I suggest you try this site:

http://www.ifoedit.com/

May I know which DVD authoring software u refering?

For a single edited VOB file is no problem...

Now I want to add unedited VOB file, DVD player won't auto play next VOB file after finish playing.

I'm also using ifoedit. I did recreate IFO file and Get VTS.

What;s next setting in IFO?

I use Sony DVD Architect. You can easily set the End Event for each clip, which is what happens after the clip finishes playing. But my source files are video clips that I make myself, not VOB files ripped from a DVD. I have never used ifoedit, so cannot help you with that.

If I HAD to do what you are doing, I would demux the VOB files back to MPEG2 format, then use these in DVD Architect to set the play sequence and loops that I wanted. then I would burn a DVD with that structure. There would be no recompression of the video files so no loss of quality.
