Shot this in Manila, New World Hotel. Typhoon Conson was passing
through Manila at this time and we were having blackouts. I didn't
have my tripod with me as this was a worktrip so just set the camera
on the window sill and took some shots. The cloud movements were
quite amazing, moving from one corner to the other within 10secs.

actually causes blue tints in the pics, which I removed in an
earlier picture but retained most of it here.

Shot at Changi Beach in June, originally didn't know
what I was going to do with the pic. With
a bit of time stuck at home, I relooked at some
of these pics and decided this was probably
usable even if not fantastic and worked on it.
Seriously suffering from withdrawal syndromes unable
to go out to shoot. Not fantastic clouds but I like the
waves caused by the bumboat.

sunrise at Bishan
7 Aug 2010

This was a panorama from my home.
Shot without tripod, I went for a 1/30s ISO320
setting and combined four vertically shot photos.
Cropped off entire bottom as Bishan Park is in a
mess now. This was actually abt 2 mins after I spotted
the purple clouds from my room and rushed to grab my
cam for a shot... missed it by this much?

I thought the clouds look like crayon sketches
from a kid's drawing, and the colours like
water painting. Probably just interesting to
myself... but yes, I did find it interesting. Shot
with a 50mm prime lens.

There were only two buildings which was lit up
on a darkened sky day, threatening to rain
any time. I went to get my cam and the lighting
changed but after a short while, the two buildings
were lit again by sunlight. Thus...

I like dramatic skies and this sky is definitely very dramatic. Did you capture one which showed the intense movement of the clouds?

Unfortunately no. Didn't have my tripod nor ND filters with me and I could barely sit the camera still on the window sill while still having it point upwards (didn't have an ultra wide angle with me)
