I am using Apurture remote shutter release. Get it from SLRev for $30. Order cable from eBay so it can be use on my GH2.

I ordered Neewer cable remote from Amazon and tried it last night. Works perfectly and also for imelapse.

the special gariz half case give me abit more feel n grip. im currently using it on my omd.

I love the soft calf leather cam-in strap. Feels really sturdy yet comfortable.

Now my problem is that I will be getting the case tomorrow. Reserved the special but I don't have an OM-D to try the cases and compare.

Also, does the big Gariz logo bother you in any way? Previous cases featured the logo on the side. Not sure why they just shift it right smack in front this time...

ordered the items on fri made payments on fri.. item reached me on monday via ems parcel
Cost of item + postage same as sg selling price so i guessed not too bad hahah.

Which one are you using? Smooth Brown/Black or Special?

the screen protector of LX3 will cover the LCD of om-d fine.

hld6 grip is u wan to improve the comfort of gripin ur camera...to me, exterior looks is not as important as how the cam feels on the palms.

LOL... I should have ripped out the screenie from my LX3 and transfer over but nay... I'll respect my old buddy's dignity and leave him in peace.

I've tried the HLD-6. It does provide a substantial grip and a more ergo shutter if you're wearing a traditional nexk strap and the lug gets in the way of the (body) shutter. The killer for me is the price and knowing I will be using only the top half.

Thought about this long and hard. My colleague will be returning to Hong Kong shortly and offered to help me buy the HLD-6...

Then I made my decision to get the Gariz Special Edition half-case after handling it. Thing is, I have sweaty palms and the body + grip faux leather is still somewhat a little slippery for me. Leather on the Gariz feels just right the moment I held it.

Moreover, most of the time I'll be using a wrist strap (Considering Barton 1972! Poison!) and for photowalks I'm using a Custom SLR glide strap with C-Loop. The bothersome lug is no longer much of an issue.

not really. I think its nice cos it adds a bit more space for pple with large hands to grip

Quite odd for "brand new unused" parts to show up on eBay at this point, when entire cameras are so short in supply. I would be very careful.
