Sorry wrong brand. It is Pixel Wireless Remote Control. If you get from eBay cheaper.

Why not just use the oly level gauge?

i have a reason for that.

when attaching external flash and removing the flash, the small hotshoe cover can easily lost epsecially in dark places when we use flash.
i do not want to loss any of the original parts from the camera.

hence i am thinking of getting a 3rd party hotshoe cover and the spirit level will come in handy too. Even if lost it also nevermind.
The Spirit level looks cool too. Personally i find it dual purpose.

One thing I found about the built-in level gauge (but I have yet to test and confirm), is that it's not very accurate.
I took a lot of pictures using the level gauge, and I found after downloading them to PC and measuring with Photoshop, a lot of them are not level. In fact not even close to level, some can be off by as much as 4-5 degrees.

Anyone else faces that problem? (sorry for the slight OT)

Without any Photoshop I can already see with the naked eye their factory setting is off.I custom the level myself

The level gauge can be calibrated. I did it on mine and its good for 90% of the time. To make things easier, get an $8 bubble leveller which can be mounted on the hotshoe as your reference. You should calibrate the level with camera mounted on a tripod.

Ah! I see! Didn't know that, thanks for the info. Will go calibrate then.
For a moment I thought my skill so bad, can tilt the camera so much when pressing the shutter button.

My OMD Silver

accessories:
1) Gariz silver/black soft button, just nice for my silver black body.
2) Gariz special black edition half leather case
3) Arnuvo leather strap (Dark brown).

The Gariz special edition half case feel softer on the grip, eliminates slipery hands.
I am also able to place 4 fingers on the grip instead of 3 fingers, hence better grip.
The base also provide addition protection against scratches.

What is the soft button good for?

The hotshot cover is prob cheaper than the spirit level lar

I feel the gariz case is a viable alternative for those who dun want to buy the grip. Got it for my silver omd as well.

Anyone saw the FL-600R flash yet?

Saw it today at Cathay.

The hotshoe cover would not come off so easily compared to my E-3 PC connector cap. Through my hiking and walking with some scratches on my black body, the hotshoe cover remains on and intact.

Can show us how the 3rd party hood looks like?
how much it cost for the hood?

Sorry for noob question but is the lens hood that neccessary? I also intend to get the UWA 9-18mm and it use same hood as the kit lens, but looks like the hood is pretty small. So can I get away without the hood?
