okie... 43rumor just posted a write-up on 3rd party batt for omd, but bad news is i just check, it was sold out with 0 available / 112 sold on the ebay site..

Anyway, Amazon Japan's prices are better than Yodobashi's, so you got a good deal.
Yodobashi sells at RRP = super expensive. Battery cost me $100, screen protector cost me around $15.

Yup it's cam-in strap.
At first I was pre-ordering the special edition case, then I ask Mike to show me all 3 version side by side, I choose the black smooth version, just my personal preference.

I love the soft calf leather cam-in strap. Feels really sturdy yet comfortable.
Now my problem is that I will be getting the case tomorrow. Reserved the special but I don't have an OM-D to try the cases and compare.
Also, does the big Gariz logo bother you in any way? Previous cases featured the logo on the side. Not sure why they just shift it right smack in front this time...
The Gariz logo is fine, can't really feel it when I holding the camera. And the half case extend the camera height by 1cm, gives better grip when holding it.

Seems that this 3rd party battery cannot be charged using the Olympus charger, you'll need to get their proprietary charger.
It's still cheap, but there's the hassle of carrying another charger along.
