I actually saw it slowly rising and growing bigger as it appeared from behind the trees. It's definately a smoke ring from some kind of fireball of sorts. Or someone is smoking a huge ciggie and trying out a trick.

in fact about 5 years ago, my friend and i went to sentosa and at that time still had that ferry/monorail pier....also spotted this from there....
