Why does this guy get only 3 mths jail and have to work only 4 mths to pay for his $100,000 bail? Why should he be allowed to travel overseas for work?

Yup...people seem to have forgotten that when it was investigated...for every S$1 NKF collects...only 10 cents goes to helping the people.

sure his business sense wasn't appropriate for an entity like NKF that should be more accountable to the public

if you consider that personal interests outweighs every other thing, even in a charity operating at national level, well yes he deserves his money. but that will also mean that there's no reason for charities to exist, it's everyone for himself/herself.
