Hi guys,
TS is sharing his trial shot for all to see.
Some who had not bought D700 may be interested to know how the camera performs in term of image reproduction.
We should appreciate his effort.
Although this particular image may not look good to some, but with your constructive comments we can learn something from it.
Noted that photo was taken at ISO 100. It is below the camera normal of ISO 200.
D700 have several Picture Control settings to choose from.
You can choose the Portrait setting when you do Portrait photography.
Or you can choose the Dx2 Mode I setting.
Both should give you better skin color than the Standard setting.
If you shoot landscape you can choose Landscape setting for richer green color.
You can also tweak the Standard setting to give you the color and effect that you prefer.
