hi all, can anyone tell me if the la lang fields are still around? if so, which part of punggol is it near/how do i get to the location? is there anyway nearby that i can park?
I did not know that there are so many places that can be "explored" in Punggol. This thread definitely make me want to explore deeper into Punggol!
For now, there are some of the pictures that I took with a Point and Shoot Camera (Panasonic Lumix FZ7). Hope you all will like it although not as good as most of the pictures posted here.
Wanted to avoid the crowd at the city, thus when to Punggol and took this downsized firework (compared to the one at city area). Lots of people who stayed near this area turned up for the count down to 2011. This is really wonderful for those who wanted to avoid the massive crowd in the city area, and bring people closer to the community.
Been a member for sometime, finally decided to share some snapshots I took recently near the Punggol Dam. It was a cloudy day, will definitely return and get better pictures of this place.

Punggol Damhttp://www.flickr.com/people/tiangping/
Without a long telephoto, this is a cropped image... The sky is not interesting and the dam don't exactly has very fanciful colours. Therefore decided to have a b&w feel to emphasize the lines and reflections.
#2 Bridge linking Punggol and Lorong Halus
This bridge will link Punggol and Lorong Halus in the future. It's still under construction at the moment. Using lines and reflection to highlight the skeleton architecture of the bridge.
#3 Curvy Lalang
Punggol is full of lalangs and I like 'shooting' lalang. This particular one with its curvy shape caught my attention.
