To Punggol, With Love

Went to Punggol Beach this evening. While shooting there, we met another group of friendly photographers who were also there to do some landscapes. I've posted one of my shots here, its a HDR of 4 exposures.

Hi CSers. I've read about the major construction going at the beach. Just wondering if it's still accessible?

Hi spongeyang, yes the beach is still accessible via the jetty, I was there just several days ago. You'll pass a small police checkpoint just located at the entrance to the jetty. The staircase allows access to the beach. :)

heres sharing one as well.. i can safely say now the bridge would be a hot thing for everyone to shoot.. hope to see more interesting shots as well to inspire others.

hi wanna asked what is the nearest Mrt/Lrt/bus station to get off, before embarking on foot to get to the bridge and Lorong Halus Wetland? the maps on google don't seem to have been updated with these places yet. thank you!

Super Moon

What exactly is a “Super Moon”?
The term refers to the unusually large new (or full) moon that earthlings see when the moon travels almost as close as it can to Earth. An “extreme Super Moon” occurs when the moon reaches its absolute closest point. On 19 March 2011, the moon will be only 221,556 miles away — the first extreme Super Moon in nearly 20 years.

Love it!

Fantastic thread! Thanks for the detailed write up & directions.. really good stuff! The area has changed quite a bit thanks to the construction ard the Serangoon river & Punggol... are the sites opposite Coney island still there (13-19)?

Sharing some shots taken today @ the beach (35 i think).
