To Punggol, With Love

Hi guys :) Heard that the place is going through major renovation, just to find out, is the place still open to public? I would love go there before it gets obliterated by our wonderful government as usual :)

Btw, Yapster did you use a Hoya ND 400 vs B+W ND1000?? or something less?
Sorry if this is late but this is good catch. Love the exposure. Cheers!

I've seen better works of the LRT viaducts by our very own CSers!

Are there any construction going on in Punggol right now? I'd like to shoot some construction against the sky/ sunset type of thing.

zzbboyzz - was your shot taken recently? Ok to share where u took the shot?

construction sites are at every corners of Punggol.
from start of clearing ground to almost TOP all have.
you want to recce just take a MRT to Punggol station, go up to LRT level and you can have a panoramic view of most parts of Punggol, than take a LRT to look closer and check out the sites.

hope this help.

is the lalang field still accessible to public?

Gotta sneak it. And now is the time where the lalang is blossoming. Shot last week.

can't locate the lalang field during my last trip to punggol beach
is it near to the beach?

Haha you got to sneak into the construction area that's why. But when you reach the beach facing the jetty. it is on your right side.

Do you have a photo of the area? Like how does the grassland look like now

To Punggol, with love...before it become too urbanised.
