Sandstone pillars @ Salamanca, Spain
(This is the city that the movie Vantage Point was based on. The movie was actually filmed in Mexico though.)

Santiago de Compostella

Little is known about this hidden city in the North West of Spain. It is actually the 3rd most visited Catholic pilgrimage site in the world after Jerusalem and Rome.

It owes its status to the belief that the remains of St James were buried in the site that is now the Cathedral. Since the 9th century pilgrims have flocked to this city in what is known as the Camino de Santiago

San Sebastian

Playground for the Spanish rich and famous. This city hosts more Michelin 1-3 star restaurants than the entire country of France! Simply amazing and a cheap deal at 150Euros per head for a 5 course fine dining meal. (Thats 300SGD per head in case you're wondering). Dont ask me what the food tastes like because I'd rather spend that kind of money on new equipment =)

World reknowned for the Tapas bars and Pintxos (Spanish Appitizers) this place is a must visit if you are travelling around Spain. Its only about an hours drive from the France holiday city Biarritz.

Portugal

Homeland.... After 30+ years I finally got to visit the home of my kin. Unfortunately i dont think any of the photographs i took can ever do this country any justice. You simply just have to see it and experience it.

Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca) is the Western Most Point on mainland Europe and is situated about an hours drive from Lisboa, Portugal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is thinking of going to Portugal. Its simply breath-taking sitting by the coast vantage point and seeing the last sunset for Europe.

It was an experience I got to share with my wife and well its something that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

These 2 photos really dont do the place justice. You should experience it for yourselves.

Porto Menina.
I met this old lady in the Porto markets and I talked to her a little (ok ok .. i tried to talk to her in Portuguese and failed miserably.. she did know some English however and allowed me to take this shot). For the life of me I cant remember her name. =( shucks.

Batalha Tram.
The trams of Porto are the favoured mode of public transport. I managed to snap this one as it was passing me in the Old Town district of Porto.. Im surprised the reflection is the windscreen came out so clear.

Sometimes Red sometimes Yellow.
If you're travelled Europe you would have seen these sightseeing buses everywhere. I was kinda bored while walking in Porto one day and decided to snap this guy who was taking photos on the bus as it was passing me by....

PORTO 2008. Planes, Trains, Automobiles!! Porto had them all for 2 fantastic days. Not to mention lots of eyecandy hot women too =)
The Duoro river was packed .. an estimated 1/2 million people on both side of the river banks.. it was PACKED! Managed this snap of Nigel Lamb in his MXS on Qualifying day.
