Hey AY!, I think I PMed you my number!

Well I'm so so so sorry, I'm relieved to hear you had another urgent appointment to go to... You see, I typed all your numbers in an excel file... but I forgot to bring it with me on that day, I had to rely on whatever I had in my handphone, and I realized at the last minute your number was not inside. I was counting on you to call me =X

Too bad I didn't go as I see lots of nice pictures!

anyway.. we are in the midst of planning the next outing
most probaly the date will be 4th of jan 09(sunday)

and the suggestion for places to shoot are:
Sungei buloh
Southern bridge
jurong birdpark
Zoo
lakeside park
(and we are still opened for suggestion) :)

Riscal - Sky Guy. I really like his pics. great colours and compo.

My honest words:
1) I envy at Ombre for his great pics on potraitures. He has good eyes to understand the whole body language. Every pic has its story. I need to learn from you. Master!!
2) I love skyguy photos coz of the balance he maintain on the Colours and compo. On Landscapes etc. Superb.
3) Melvan has good compo understanding and does well in the colours too. I love the last pic of the lotus and skies.
4) Clunk need to get a Raynox! lols. Somwhow I think you will be a Macro Addict like me. lols. took me years to understand the basics method of macros and am still learning it. Hope to be better than the Macro masters in Clubsnap. Its not just the Aperture/exposure and bla bla bla...but also how you understand the insect/still life in its own way. But dont shoot ducks and then Macro it...that will be brutal! lols. (Raynox I got it 2nd hand. You can try get it at MS colors in Ang Mo Kio near the AMK Hub)
5) Vinze, can do better when you understand the camera. try playing the P A S M mode more. It will improve your skills even more. To shoot, you have to know you rifle better than anyone else. Same principle on Cameras. ;)

Am not a Pro, but this is just what I think. Coz I'm a Photographer who put feelings into pictures(I'm Not EMO! lol). Coz I believe that every pics that a Photographer's took, has special meaning behind it and its up to the one viewing it to break the Da Vinci Code. He He He.

I think Mr Ay6810 may have to cast the tie breaker vote and choose between Skyguy's and Riscal's shots. Either that or Ombre can toss a coin?:dunno:

I think everyone did great that day! And lets not forget Ricsal - really able to see things from a different perspective and frame/compose at the most ideal angles! This is particular true for the chair and waterfall. Caught great macro too!

Vinze has good composition too from his previous pictures haha, perhaps he needs to photoshop better =P or at least expose properly, abit hit and miss there. But on the overall, SHOW MORE CARE to your (my-ex) camera... its so whacked up! I like the close-ups from Rob & Melvan a lot too!

Skyguy's been conservative about posting his pics, but somehow, every pic that he posts is always of the 'WOAH' type, with 'the feel' and something unique from time to time, his flickr says it all.

As for me, haha thanks for your kind words Ricsal, I'm certainly not a 'master' in this area, but yea, I do love candids and portraiture a lot. Personally it appeals to me its because its challenging, you won't meet the same stranger twice, and if you do, the feeling is totally different too! And there is little way to 'control the moment', but I find that natural moments a lot more appealing than posed moments. As for "understanding the whole body language", hm, does that show in the picture?! haha I'm not too sure, but thanks anyway. I actually was a pre-professional dancer before I went back to school, so perhaps yea, I have different expectations to what is a good looking 'candid model/moment'.

Hi all, dumb me I totally forgot I have no camera until 5th Jan (quoted by Canon). I sent in my lens and camera for servicing due to some focusing issues with my new lens. (It actually shows in some of the pictures I posted, not sure if anyone is as fussy as myself to notice it!)

So yea, I have no camera!

Shucks! I really want to go to eastcoast park to candid beach goers! =(

And I won't have a tele lens either... AHHHHH my equipment is in a mess. Going to NEED to catch the BBB virus again.
