fact is...a flash is a flash.
will you be able to tell the difference if i show you a pic and ask you which flash it is shot with?
i dont see the point of posting pictures taken with sb900.:dunno:
Well said... It depends on the user and the light modifiers used if any.fact is...a flash is a flash.

well, i just thought since the SB-900 has more zoom range...
for a moment, i thought its a infra red flash.
the flash auto detect the colour gel and auto adjust wb
wow, i like the way the designed the master/ remote thingy as a button there. Makes the job easier.
Did i also see a battery indicator/
in the hands of amateurs, maybe.
in the hands of a pro, u will.
Shot from my MIL's house (7 stories up). Surprised, the light coverage could reach the school building and field 30 metres away in complete darkness (ISO 1000). My SB800 could only light the same area if it is (ISO 2500). I am sure the 'long light decay' of the SB900 would come in handy as compared to the SB800. Close up not much different.
Could do the same experiment next week and post the images, as my SB800s not at my MIL's house.
Yup there is....;p
there isn't any batt indicator... sadly. what u see is, i think the thermal cut-out symbol
its useful when u trying to burst fire.Yes, it looks like a battery indicator but its not. Wonder how useful the thermal cut-out symbol is, seems quite redundant to me![]()
