bags are definitely stuck somewhere in changi airport... :complain:

and i just watched another speed racer left the shop... :bsmilie:

I send them an enquiry on the 6/12 and got a reply on the 11/12 thru their web site. I should say that by calling them it is the fastest way to get quotation and stock availabilities ;)

I hate using phones and prefer email, messaging etc. Anyway, to be fair to TK, I received email reply from James today. He was surprised I managed to use the enquiry page as their website was supposed to only be relaunched later. Anyway, he's got another customer now.

And it is best for you to come on the day when items from the new shipment is available. Most of the smaller bags and pouches are out of stock now. There will be quite a lot of choices (but limited stock) and hope you will not be poisoned "gao gao" by us on that day ;)

everyone interpreted my words wrongly. I should do this one more time. 4 words - IT IS NEVER ENOUGH!

A Speed Racer?! Gosh, must be using D3 or 1D MkIII to need such a big belt pack.

Now also the owner of a Speed Freak. ;p

so that was you

Just how many bags/pouches have you bought already? To me, Speed Demon is of a comfortable size to store my camera and the other lenses I am owning, for now. But I think as a belt pack, Speed Demon/Freak/Racer has a more accessible front zippered compartment than the Change Up. CU's front compartment can hardly be used if I store my D200 facing down because of the bulge at the top.

Eh? Which one was you? The one behind at the computer?

I have the Antidote and Speed Freak. That's it. I was actually deciding between the CU and this, but I went for this because it seemed more suited for my use. The CU is slimmer, and looks to me like a lens-only carrying solution. I have my doubts about how much more it will hold besides my 30D with a grip.

I can seriously tell you that it will not hold much. I have to store my D200+grip vertically and that leaves just enough space to store my 18-200 and a 50/1.4 stacked together and the main compartment is fully occupied. Take a look at my CU review and you can see taht CU will be a better fit for cameras of size equivalent to D80 or smaller. But the grip have to be stored seperately. I will relegate the CU to hold only lenses if I am getting the 28-70 and 17-35. The camera will go into a seperate pouch.

So the Speed Freak can store the 30D+grip horizontally? That is very thick, I will say, won't it be quite inconvenient at times?

Yeah it fits snugly. Actually, the larger Speed Racer beltpack would be a better fit, but this will do. Will write a detailed review after a field test. Going out to Aussie with my family for a few days.

So far, I've been able to fit the 30D with a grip, with a Sigma 10-20 (short but fat), a 50mm f/1.8 with hood, and a 24-85mm, plus other odds and ends. There's a lot of space left. I think Think Tank did a good job with this beltpack.

A review of the Speed Freak will be great. However, I will define Speed Racer as a small backpack rather than a belt pack as it is simply huge.

can any moderator please remove all my duplicate posts? thanks.

Can anyone(you, TMC, acidbyte or anyone going for the Nikon Outing) collect and pay for Pixel Sunscreen first and pass it to me at JBP on Sat? Told James to keep one for me.

that is if we remember LOL. The items are confirmed for Sat, but not sure about Fri.
