But at that length you would have spotted the the transformer base hidden on the Moon.
I presume you used less than 300mm on the lens?

Yep, around 270+ zoom only as using the max 300mm and the moon woould already cover most of the frame. Wanted to use my 1.4 x teleconverter but opted for the 2x as that tc is mounted on my lens ring mount which gives better balance than mounting the entire combo to the tripod using the adaptor or camera's tripod mount. Anyway i dont have a native q lens as i only bought the Q as a 2nd hand unit. Probably will be looking for the 03 lens to do landscapes. For now, this is my ultimate zoom combo
