The Q7 / Q10 / Q picture sharing thread

A series of shots with the Q7 and 06 zoom.
Since it was a family trip to the zoo, I knew photography was to take a back seat.
So the the Q7+06 zoom does really well w/o weighing a ton.
A mini 70-200mm.

Those shots are so good that I really can't see that it's actually from a pentax Q7. And the 06 seems to really good lens with quite good close focus capability.

Yes, its the elephant's enclosure as pointed out by Vengels

Thanks :)
I also find that the 06 gives a pleasing bokeh.
For small things like a head and shoulders portrait or small stuff, I do think that it can still do nicely with rather pleasing OOF background.

Shot in my favourite 'reversal film' mode. (almost a default on the Q for me)

I also like the 06 zoom, JK.

I also like the BnW conversion. Seems like the BnW mode in Q series got some help from Ricoh's involvement in this camera.

If you do not print anything large, this is really an amazingly handy camera during travels.

Also with the 06 lens

and this with the 01 lens (BnW mode, and open wide)

Did not want to carry anything more than a simple camera with me just for a trip to the Pasar Malam with my daughter.

Yes, it was in Khatib on the field across the MRT.
I think some PasarMalam have theme park, some don't.
This one, not too many food variety (as if SGP has much food variety in the pasar malam in the first place :D )

Nice...
Thats 300x2x5.6 = 3360mm
But at that length you would have spotted the the transformer base hidden on the Moon. :D
I presume you used less than 300mm on the lens?
