Hmmm... I was rather disappointed to note that iTunes store is only for residents in the US. :( Have compiled a list of songs hoping to buy there. Anyone knows why they have this restriction?

So are there other sites where I can buy songs that I like?

Thanks....

Yes, iTunes will not support Singapore. You can buy from US store, but u need a US credit card on the account inorder to make purchases. So, you can get an iTunes Gift Certificate from eBay or Amazon and use it to add credit to your US iTunes account. Then you go and shop there as normal and you can switch between US and SG accounts on the iTunes on ur PC/MAC. This is what I do now.

There are several countries supported but mostly in the western world. You cannot buy across national boundaries due to licensing agreements made with the record and video/film companies for a certain area. Generally, Apple had enough trouble to secure agreements in the countries already supported. Those which don't have music or video stores either had disagreements with the companies, the government, or both or presented a high risk of piracy.

You can go to the library to get the Killer Tips series of books for Mac OS X.

I buy mine from Amazon with a workaround. Their catalog is pretty extensive as well.
Here's a guide I wrote.

Still don't have a workaround for iTunes yet.

My Mac started making a funny sound.
I'm not sure if it started it or that I had not noticed it before.
I noticed it after i started travelling with it.
But i only hear it when it is quiet... it is not that loud but it is quite obvious in a quiet room.
It is a mechanical sound... like a motor... something spinning.
Does your Mac make any sounds?
Also, I notices when I tilt it towards me, the sound stops.
The Mac is functioning as normal. But the sound is disturbing to me.

cd/dvd spinning?
HDD platters spinning
Fan working?

possible?

With 3 companies fighting over the name, Apple may have to change the name before the product is available anyway. I thought DataPad would be a better name, in reference to the devices used in the Star Trek series which are smaller but are used similarly.
