Nothing wrong... read stories... As i say always, there are more things in life to worry abt. Move on... :cool:

This round not so bad (not good either, but on the whole, fairly neutral IMO), unlike the hatchet job in TNP last time.

I already started worrying about that, which is why I'm baking a loaf of Dark Rye Bread with sunflower and punpkin seeds and chopped macademia nuts for breakfast, pasta for lunch and Chinese style long-boiled chicken soup with potatoes, chunky oinions and carrots with slivers of bamboo shoots for dinner. :devil:

Edit: OOPS! Sowwie KT. Not telling you what to do or anything...just typed fast fsat from what I recall about food and nutrition. Hope you wern't offended.

Don't ignore the essential food groups, but eliminate any added sugar and oil/stay away from any fried foods, especially outside stalls which use palm oil. Discard any skin and visible fat from meat items.

If you like bread, stay away from the soft soft super refined types and go for more complex carbs which take much longer to break down, giving your body a better chance to metabolise the fats (simple sugars are quickly converted to fat IIRC). Don't be fooled by the so called 'hi-fiber' softmeal type breads. Most commercial breads have way too much refined flour and addditives in them to cater to the Asian preference for tissue paper soft bread. Go for the 'real' heavy types of bread like wholwheat and multi-grain varieties or do what I do and bake them yourself. A lot of people might not like the taste at all, but the almost black German Pumpernickle bread is so rich in multigrain that one medium to thick slice could probably last an Asian adult the entire day.

Apples might not be so good because you might be keeping your stomach empty. The acidity levels in certain apple varieties may cause more gastric juice activity, possibly contributing to stomach problems, or making you feel hungry faster. Try chilled raw baby carrots. Mildly sweet and juicy, very refreshing, zero cholesterol and very low cal, raw carrots are great as a source of dietary fiber that helps keep hunger at bay safely.
