I am more or less inclined towards getting a Tamron 17-50f2.8
Just like to hear from those who have / had the lens
on what they DONT like about the lens
I noticed a couple did sell it off a day or 2 later......
My chief concern so far is their local agent support.
Sounds like they are unresponsive....
HOw about other factors ??

if u hate a noisy lens, dont get this
Main complain, no IS
Someone here tested both lens. He must have a built in stopwatch in his eyes/brain, cause he says Sigma is milliseconds faster :bsmilie:

wah.. i get mentioned.. :sweat: no, i didnt use a stopwatch or something like that. my hands are not fast enough to press start and stop for the lens to AF..:embrass:
my meaning of the earlier post that was posted is supposed to mean that the AF speed difference is negligible..
i would emphasize that, there is no point reading all about the reviews and opinion, just get down to a shop and try it for yourself
