[SunChasersSG] Newbies Outing (Part 18) - Sunrise @ Merlion Park 18 Sept 2010 (Pics)

'newbies' who take up slots, turn up on the day, hide one corner, rush off after the outing, don't post 'homework'. Like that might as well shoot alone right?

wah. Tt sounds a little like me? :embrass:

Maybe should have a section on how to post pictures . Some are just clueless I think.
And the main problem maybe after seeing the nice nice picts posted by senior , newbie hesitate to post their pics :p

Hi everyone

A chance to have your artistic photographs in the pages of a globally-distributed book?

I'm in the midst of collecting images of Singapore (any images) which could be used for an upcoming book title on Singapore.

Would appreciate if you peeps are nice enough to send me any images of Singapore (e.g. landscapes, streets, people, buildings, art, indie, anything).

If your pictures are picked to be featured in the book, we'll definitely give you credit for them...! do text me if you wish to know more, thanks!

Cheers,
K

Please share with us the details, and a sample of a contract (stating how you will use the pictures and the boundaries of use, and how you will credit and what the owners of the photos will get in return for that use)

Thanks for organizing this. Otherwise I couldn't drag myself to catch a sunrise (I'm lazy :D).

However, I don't really like my photos today. They not very good

Hi Jeffrey. I was going through the photos and I can only find two candid shots of Ding and Ghaz1. Are those the ones you needed comments on, or did you have any landscape photos also?

Great shots you have there... nice composition too..

tnx jacob BTW this shot with the help of Mr. Wuminlee and his lens and Filter to poison me. :bsmilie:.

Thanks wildcat for going round checking my photo. My outing for this photo at page 5 post 86 & 88. Really thanks you so much. :)

You submitted your homework didn't you? :bsmilie:

yup I did. But during the outing I like never really mingle around with other people. The bridge too crowed already. :bsmilie:

I reached there at about 0605. Tio stun by the number of people there.:)

Actually you can either use the button with the "mountain plus sun" icon or just post the link up. There should be some write ups also. I may comment on some obvious mistakes, or if I know what you're looking out for, then I hope to help out with criticism also. Maybe there are specific questions you wanted to ask? Best is self-critique first and then see how.

The thing is, I don't like overloading people with info especially if they are working on one thing. I feel that one should concentrate and correct one thing at a time and not focus on everything at one go especially at the beginning where there's just overload of information. So generally, unless I know a person well and what he wants to do (which fits into my peers mostly, like r00kie), I will keep to myself. There's a fine line between encouraging and putting a person down, and I tend to err on the former ;)

So that would explain why I only comment on few photos (especially the nice ones).
