just a brief check too
D70/80s can do high spd sync with flash, whereby D90 is up to 1/250.

for my existing dumb triggers, if they cannot faster sync than 1/250, what other options are available aside from the expenside PW?

I haven't tested if D90 can sync faster than its rated spec of 1/250 so I can't answer your query, sorry.

Nice take... :)

D70 and D70s have an electronic shutter
i believe the D40/D40x has it too

Curious, is it referring to High-Speed Sync? :dunno:

n't think so

i don't think so

the electronic shutter of the D70/D70s has a flash sync speed of 1/500s

D40 flash sync speed is also 1/500s
D40x is slower at 1/200s
D80 and D90 is also at 1/200s

all without High-Speed Sync

it is maximum sync speed and yup ortega is right about the electronic shutters. i read somewhere d40/x can sync up to 1/4000 using pocket wizards though can't remember what kind of strobe was used.

Good atmosphere in the pictures.
I would like to see some rim-lights on her legs. It fades to much in so it looks like half a body.

So that's you at Fort Canning!
I like All Eyes On Me. Pity her right leg's a bit dark.

Thanks. My bad I never thought of using rim light in this shoot. Will try to experiment more in future shoots.

Unless i understood u wrongly, surely if u goggle, can see that D90 does have auto FP high speed sync, to go beyond 1/250? Thats nt what u meant??
