Welcome to the Jungle

5 Image HDR/DRI using GND 0.9 soft + GND 0.6 hard for higher tonality of the skies. Gardens By The Bay, Singapore.

Believe it or not, this is my first visit to Gardens by the bay. I couldn't find a better view that best represents the place but from this view up the bridge.

Went there late though, will probably come back pre-dawn hours and see what I get.

I love your photos. They are very nice!
I also like the "behind-the-scenes" shots which gives me an idea of how you positioned your camera.

Thank you for sharing and keep the photos coming!

The intensity of pink was very strong that morning! :o If only my Galaxy S II camera's dynamic range is as equivalent to a DSLR to capture the vast range of pink in the sky.

4 stars is understating the shots you are taking. hope my humble 5 stars can bring it up!

Sleeping Rocks of Labrador

4 Image HDR/DRI 2 image panorama to relief left side spatial tightness using GND 0.9 soft + ND 0.9 x2 to achieve 6 stops for smoothed water effects. Labrador Park, Singapore.

It's again, been a long while since I got here. These amazing formation of the coastal rocks enjoy every moment of the sunset 365 days a year. I wish I lived like a rock.

I predict December would be one of the best times of the year to visit this enchanting area, as I believe the sun will set directly where the abandoned jetty "points".

The Cold Side of Labrador

3 Image HDR/DRI 2 image panorama to relief left side spatial tightness using GND 0.9 soft + ND 0.9 for smoothed water effects. Labrador Park, Singapore.

Last shot from the area, decided to go for a different tone of coldness and exposure, more so than my usual overly processed HDR.

Not sure why, but the sunset was quite abysmal towards nearing the horizon. Probably thick haze or storm clouds from far away caused this.

I also wanted to shoot waves but somehow it was too weak to cause "drama". Will probably come back another time again to shoot the waves like I always did at Punggol Beach.

Hey it was nice seeing you too there. :) When I got out to leave I actually shone my bright torch just to find where you are. I doubt being there alone is safe especially in the dark. :( And when the tide was getting higher.

Supertree Safari

Single Image RAW + Custom Temperature set at 7000K.

Went there late again, thought of going through further in to explore but had errands to run during the course of the day. Good thing I brought my 24-70 L along. A good zoom takes a nice break away from using wide.

This is something I kinda envisioned at the back of my mind for a long time since the day of opening. Not sure if the wait was worth the shot, as I predict the sun will rise behind the supertrees sometime during this time of the year.

Great shot! Looks like some nuclear reactors.
