The shot was actually taken much earlier before the behind the scenes shot. Had to wait before there was enough light for my handphone camera to shoot. Personally, I find the Galaxy S II can't really focus well and capture good light in pre-dawn environment.

always loving your works :)

The Rise Over Clementi

3 Image HDR/DRI 4 Image Vertorama using GND 0.9 soft + GND 0.6 hard for higher tonality of the sky. Clementi Estates, Singapore.

I miscalculated the sunpath and I really hate when this happens. I want the alignment with the HDBs "pointing" precision where the sun rises. That kinda effected my motivation shooting this. Still, nonetheless I enjoyed my shoot. :) Guess it's better than nothing at all.

PS, the horizon isn't titled. When I first composed this shot it made me ponder all over: why isn't it straight?? I realised it's the height of the buildings that gets taller at the right and the slight increase in geographical elevation that makes it so.

The Faraway Dream

12 Image Panorama RAW, handheld. Custom Temperature set at 7000K. Telok Blangah Estates, Singapore.

The environment was glowing a great hue of orange that morning of sunrise. It was an awesome sight.

I always admired the business district over the hills from this view. It reflects on the inner most desire, an ambition I wish to accomplish in the distant future, but not within reach. This is where I am now, struggling to find a way across the border, to be an architect.

One of your master piece again! May I ask are you an architect? Cuz your interior pic and street scapes are awesome.

Impressive work!! thanks for sharing.

You admired the scene hence you made the shot. You made the shot, hence we can admire the scene as you had, from where we sit. Great choice of WB.

Over the Hills & Far Away (Reprise)

3 Image HDR/DRI 5 image vertorama (15 shots total) using GND 0.9 soft. + GND 0.6 hard for higher tonality of the sky. Telok Blangah Estates, Singapore.

A reprise of the shot that I've taken sometime back as I didn't like the overtoned post-processing I did... As much as I love this place, it also remind me of my childhood days with my aunt living here.

Alternate Reality

3 Image HDR/DRI 3 Image Vertorama with no filters.

Took only 5 minutes to post-process this shot. Will try to upload another better processed shot later.

UPDATE: Well I've managed to re-upload it again. Re-processed the entire shot from scratch. Fixed some of the biggest issue I faced, which is dirt on lens/sensor. Should probably send for cleaning.

The water is pretty still this morning and probably will be for the next few days. Will see what I can do to take advantage of this! :) I also shot this just in time before the Merlion starts spewing water from its mouth, ruining the reflections completely.
