Not really... but before this mass sharing sessions kicks in, I'd try to run a series of smaller sessions in my studio to beef up and inspire those who keen to know more. :)

So do watch out for it in the Workshop sub-forum. :)

SB28's do not have an optical slave, so you'll need to think of how to trigger the SB28s. There are a few options... but here are 2 suggestions:
1. Buy an optical slave trigger for each SB28
2. Buy a RF trigget set

If you go for a RF trigger set, then you'll need 1 on the D90, and 3 for each flash.

Using optical slave or RF triggers require you to set the flashes in Manual mode and manually control the power output.

RF triggers do not need line of sight, while optical slave and CLS does.

SB28's also do not support CLS. So if you want to use CLS, you can use the D90 as the master and SB800 as a slave.

Other than that, you'll just need to figure out if you want your flashes on light stands, or table stands, etc. ;)

wat cheap flash has optical slave and able to do cls?

I'm not sure what you mean by cheap, but for the Nikon line up, the flashes that have optical slave are... SB-26, SB-80DX, SB-800, SB-900

The optical slave cost about $20 each... and you can get them from the Benro shop at Peninsular.

When you speak CLS, it's never cheap.. coz it's going back to the parent brand itself - Nikon.

It all depends on your budget. Really. Some ppl invest in a good equipment (buy it right and good the 1st time, and you wun need to upgrade in the near future soon), while others settle for what they can afford and can do the job just as well.

If you're looking @ 3rd party flashes with optical trigger, you can try Nissin or Sigma. I'm personally using a Sigma 530 Super. So far so good.... but from personal experience, always pair it off with a RF trigger or similiar. Using the D90 pop up flash as master to trigger the slave, ain't cool.
