was also keen to get it, but haven't seen it in local stores yet.. so settled for the ez-softbox since its larger but still folds down into a small package..

I have sources for strobist materials from the US. But it is limited in quantity.

This is an informative DVD series starting from the basics to more advanced (but manageable to all) examples used commonly by strobists. Recommended for beginners to intermediate photographers.

If you are an advanced strobists, the materials are probably largely revision stuffs.

Gels = Cathay Photos.. ok I have the 1/4CTO and 1/2CTO.. I can spare some if we ever meet.. keke
Cheap light stands/umbrellas = Targotech or OP
Super Cheap umbrellas = DIY from Daiso

cathay dont have gels? tats weird. btw the gels comes in large sheets. like really big pieces.

I just bought some a couple of weeks ago. CTO.

You have to go CP-peninsular. CP-M doesn't sell gels.

They come in large pieces, about 1/2 x 1m, and cost $8 each. You can buy stick-on velcro from any DIY shop.

Yes.. CP-Peni.. not the main store but opposite, the shop that sells lots of tripods and stuff.

Targo and OP sells cheap but light lightstand.. for better ones go Ruby
