I like the second one. The green and yellow are so rich yet not looks too fake.

Thanks. They are all out of the camera without editing. Hmmm... Come to think of it, I haven't heard people discussing on the type of setting for saturation/contrast for the camera.

I find that my shots are not too steady. I recommend either using the EVF or thumb-up. They will help to stabilise the camera.

No steady shot? The IS not working har?

No IS for RX1 in photography mode la..

If you choose auto ISO, i notice generally (if not always) the camera will choose 1/80 as the minimum shutter speed. That should generally be sufficient to capture a steady shot?

No problem for me if the shutter speed is at 1/80s. Try to adjust to smaller aperture to test? Or it may be just because the camera is too small that it caused bigger movement when you press the shutter

Yea..But the LX7 cant take pic like the RX1 and etc etc.
and pls dont bring price into the picture or comparison.

Compromise..give and take lei. Maybe the next version will have IS. But then its 35mm.. maybe thats why they exclude the IS. and maybe so to ensure the package is compact enough.

Shocking ! A camera costing $4k and they can't afford to put in IS ! I didn't expect that at all. Probably one of the reasons why all the images posted so far looked so underwhelming to me. Not sharp at all. :(

Which other full frame has in body IS ?

I am sure you wouldn't say that if you have had the chance to use the camera and viewed the files.

Go talk to leica then... or hassleblad...

An IS mechanism would have added a lot of bulk to the lens.

The camera is heavier than usual pns camera, so holding it at a distance will result in movement when shutter is pressed. I am more used to dslr of shooting where I hold the camera close to me when taking pictures.

Maybe it's just me not good in using RX-1. :)

Sony uses sensor shift OIS so no bulk will be added to the lens.
