Took this little wonder to Hong Kong and Macau. I am impressed with the low light image quality. The images were able to retain much of the details at high ISO. After some slight noise reduction, you are able to get very good images out from this camera. The only bugbear is the AF performance. The lens hunts quite a bit under low light. There are some occasions it cannot have good lock on. Hopefully, the AF will improve with the next firmware version.

This is not a cheap camera and since the lens is not interchangeable any damage to the lens is going to be a real PITA.

Was about to get the RX1 but this killed the idea straightaway. I prefer at least the RX1 being able to mount different lenses.

Are you saying u almost bought rx1 and stopped when u realized its not a interchangeable system ?
