Looks more like a non-issue, contrast detect AF-C doesn't really work well anyway. That's probably the reason why they removed it.too bad they took out the AF-C feature but i don't think it will turn off potential buyers.

quite insane the high iso, see the "ISO 25,600 â Direct JPEG, NO NR!" samples. i was stunned for a while

Production set? The camera ships in December.
looks really good.![]()
Yes... Steve Huff gets d production set even if it's not launched yet. D perks of being an established reviewer. What is left for production set is just tweaking the firmware further and no more changes to the body and specs. Cheers.
I guess he got a hand assembled set by Sony US or Japan like any other reviewer, not one from the production line. Sony just changed the AF dial last week. Anyway, I doubt it makes any difference, the IQ will be the same from the cameras that will appear in two months on the shelves.![]()
Firmware tweaking does make a little difference on improving the IQ further. Let's see if the launched set will be better? Haha
Perfectly possible but the camera has to be in stores in 60 days all over the world, usually they won't have any improvements in the pipe at this point, it's just about bug fixing now.
Update firmware on the finished product is very fast... I expect an improvement on the IQ on the launched product in Dec.. RX1.. tempting but cannot use bk my MF lenses... Haiz... Wishing for the new FF NEX soon...
