The nex-6 unit i saw at sony orchard says thailand.

Ps: the unit is not on display. U have to ask them. I was told that they will show case it on saturday with a small event?? where u can try your hands on it...

Yups. I was around there and went up to ask for a unit to play. Sadly it`s not attached with the 1650 lens but with the 1855 (silver one). Perhaps the staff themselves were probably playing with 1650 lens. They not sure where was the 1650 lens i think.

Why dont u set a price and see if anyone offers u higher the first person will always be test & trial but then again, you can be the price/trend setter.

any idea if they sell the external charger / extra battery over there? =)

Just use an iphone charger if you have one.

If it charges via USB on PC, its always 5v.

Anyone managed to their Sony Apps accounts under Singapore region and able to download the Apps from the Sony site? Seems like Singapore is currently not supported.

Hope sony singapore will launch some purchase with purchase. Sony msia have a purchase with purchase, sony emount 30mm for nearly 1/2 the price.

I did checked with Sony recently on this issue. They said currently it's not available for Singapore and they're looking into it to add more countries in.

There should be plenty soon, so be patient. 5N is still pretty good.

You are right Bro, this cam is perfect upgrade for those with the first generation Nex 5.
We should probably wait for the Nex 6N before upgrading.

I think it makes sense for 5N owners to upgrade to 6 for its built in EVF, faster AF, wifi and new 1650 portable kit lens. And its cheaper than 7 while in fact has more features yet only sacrifice on megapixel count which I think more people would actually prefer the legendary 16mp one instead.

For 5N upgraders to 5R, not so much improvements unless die die must have wifi.

6N or possibly 7N, will it ever end? Maybe RX1 for 90% of my shooting and keep the 5N when I need to use my CV 58f1.4. This will cover 98% of my shooting requirement and I will definitely call it a day finally.
