Luckily i have my charger from NEX-5... but i think the USB charging function is better. i can charge the camera in my car or using portable USB chargers

Is there anyone here using their NEX-6 with Metabones Contax G adapter? I have a problem with mine - it doesn't lock onto the NEX-6's lens mount.

Most likely an issue with your metabones unit.

I believe it's the slot on the adapter (for the E-mount locking pin) that's causing my adapter to not lock - I've compared it with the other E-mount adapters/lenses I have. Anyway i've emailed my seller about this.
This particular adapter worked for my 5/5N, so I guess the NEX-6 has slightly lower tolerance.

Just wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

My Metabones seller got back to me. Apparently the smaller slot should not cause any problems. There's a tiny screw on the adapter (E-Mount side) that can be removed, which solves the earlier problem of the Camera's mount pin not locking.

hey guys... quick question on NEX-6.. is it possible to switch off the menu 'beeps' but still retain the AF focus confirmation beep?
I was able to do that in NEX-5 under 'Beeps-> AF only'... but NEX-6 is just 'Beeps->On or Off'...

All I can say is, you'll get used to it

Personally, the only sound I like to hear is the crispy shutter sound
