Guys, just to check, our nex 6 have this mode "miniature effect" right? Where to find it? I tried search the menu but cannot find it. Can advise this noob here. ^.^

Anyone got the gariz case for NEX 6? (This Qn also directed to nex7 owners who has the case) I just gt mine n I realised the metal around the 'hole' for the battery slot is quite sharp and I just got a small cut on my finger. Just wondering if anyone of u have similar issues and/or have any idea / ways to unsharpen the edges other than hardcore methods like sandpaper n filing...

I got quotes from 3 shops. Basic kit is ~1260, and twin lens is 1580. Some shops add 2% for credit card payment.
I got mine at Cathay - i can share more details over pm.

There's a lot of cheap options from eBay, and they all fit n work fine.

wish it could happen. even on the NEX-7 it doesn't work that way.

the only cameras from Sony that can do that are the A700, A850, A900, A77 and A99. the ones with the front and rear dials. they should have a firmware update to fix that

Can the shutter and aperture dials be switched? I'd prefer shutter to be on the larger top dial.

Battery charger is very genetic chemistry/physics. As long as the rates voltage is correct, the rest will b fine.

That's assuming the charger performs as rated.

Then again, why not? The manufacturers have nth to gain by shortchanging the power ratings.

Lemon copies, be it original or 3rd party, exist and are relatively rare. If you really kena a bad copy, then it's plain bad luck.

I myself have used 3rd party chargers for various electronics including NEX. No problem so far.
